Terms

• We never publish anything without explicit consent.
• We never sell submitter data.
• We honour takedown requests promptly (procedure below).
• We take care of the archive and its stored material, while recognising that no storage system can guarantee against every loss.

If you want your family's entry removed:

1. Email [email protected] with the entry link, family name and your relationship to the material. Do not send passwords or identity documents.
2. We will review your request and, where necessary, confirm your authority through a safe follow-up before changing another person's material.
3. You can immediately withdraw your own community contribution from its page. Withdrawal hides it from public access; it is not the same as erasing every source copy or backup.
4. For deletion or a copy of your personal data, follow the privacy and data deletion instructions. We will explain what action was taken and any records retained for consent, security or legal reasons.

• Only submit material you have the right to share: your own family's stories, or stories where the people involved have consented.
• Do not submit material that defames, identifies minors without consent, or breaks Gambian law.
• If a story involves living people, get their permission before submitting their voice or full name.
